Introducing the TT gauge model railroad layouts!

TT Gauge: Loading raw coal at Scheibe opencast mine

The TT layout “Raw coal loading Scheibe open-cast mine” measures 5.50 m x 0.96 m and depicts the loading of lignite from the “Scheibe” open-cast mine onto the mine railroad.
Integrated are two single-track lines in the same direction KBS 134 Hoyerswerda – Cottbus, section Weißkollm – Spreewitz-Süd.
The layout theme corresponds to the period around 1990.
It is operated in analog mode and has a sequence control with relays and reed contacts.
All of the coal railroad vehicles were built from kits.
A special feature are the blue illuminated signals based on the model of the opencast mines in the GDR.
